The Exeter Police and Community Choir will be performing in concert at Ottery Parish Church on Saturday 12th November at 7.30pm in aid of the Ottery Hospital League of Friends. This promises to be a fine evening of music with something for everyone to enjoy. Ben Scott and some of his young friends will also be taking part and we hope to have a large and welcoming audience. Tickets available from Stage Struck and Ottery Tourist Office priced at £6.

The Hospital League of Friends would like to thank all those who so generously supported the Hospital Coffee Morning on October 8th. £655.60 was raised which will be put to good use at the hospital. The League of Friends committee meets four times a year to consider requests made by the Doctors, Hospital Staff and Community Nurses. These requests are for items of equipment which are outside the Health Authority budget, and which will improve the quality of care and comfort for both patients and staff. There is also the commitment to the purchase of the new ambulance which you will have read about in last month’s Gazette.
